Seriously one of the most underrated drives in Australia!
The drive along the Victoria Highway from Katherine to Kunanurra winds through dramatic red cliffs that give a taste of the Kimberley mountain ranges to come. The highway ducks towards and away from the mighty Victoria River, and the unusual boabs start to scatter themselves through the open woodland.
