Tree of Resilience, Nightcliff Foreshore

from A$175.00

Aside from the jetty, this must be one of the best known spots along Nightcliff Foreshore. A Top End Ghost Gum has made it’s way closer to the edge year after year, as the wet season erosion washes away it’s cliff top perch. Every wet season I think this tree will meet it’s end, yet in 2024 it’s still going!

This shot was captured at sunset in January 2024, the last of the warm light shining on the red cliffs, a passing shower makes the perfect contrast in the background, with just a little warm glow on the storm edge.
